Our Story

About the Pastor

April Standfield is the Pastor and founder of God's Love Ministries Church, established in April of 2016. Pastor April began her work for God at the age of 7 years old, praying for sick people, laying hands on the Bible, and giving to the work of the Lord.

Pastor April had a passion for serving God from an early age, and has a history of winning souls through evangelism, helping in Ministry, and feeding those in need.

Her love for God continued to grow, and Pastor's desire to see God more at work in her led her to gain more education for God.

Pastor's education includes studying a religion course at Germanna Community College, attending Patrick Henry Community College and receiving Bible training and being licensed as a Pastor at a Christian Institute located in Michigan State.

Pastor's other education includes attending John Tyler Community College, and Piedmont Virginia Community College.

Pastor April is a devoted and loving mother, and holds a degree in Psychology with an Education minor from Germanna Community College in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She graduated Cum Laude, and was on the Dean's list while in College. Pastor April also attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and obtained additional certification in Missions and leadership. John 5:8-

1After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaica called Bethesda,b which has five roofed colonnades. 3In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed.c 5One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” 7The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” 8Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” 9And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.
