About the Pastor

  

   April Standfield is the Pastor and overseer of God's Love Ministries Church.  Pastor April began working in the field of nursing when she took a volunteer position at Providence Hospital.  Her interest in nursing grew, and in 1999, she completed a nursing program at The Harrison Center for Career Education in Washington, D.C. and sat for the LPN state board exam and became licensed as a licensed practical nurse. Her Ministry education includes receiving Bible training, and getting ordained and licensed as a Pastor at a Christian Institute and Bible College in Michigan State. She got further ordination and licensing as a Pastor at her local Church as well. 


   Pastor April is a mother, a Ministry leader, and holds a degree in Psychology and Education from an accredited College in Virginia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, and was on the Dean's list while in College. Pastor April attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and completed a program where she received more education in Biblical studies, The books of the Bible, and World missions. 


    Pastor April hopes to open a home for orphans, and establish outreach programs for youth.

Ministry Experience

Pastor April has a passion for seeing souls saved through Jesus Christ. Pastor April has been baptized at the age of 6 years old, at the age of 29, and again at the age of 32 years old. She has a history of winning souls through evangelism, helping in Ministry, and assisting in ways that God speaks to her heart on how to help.

 

Prayer comes first in her life and obeying God and Jesus Christ is of the utmost importance to Pastor April. Pastor April's main goal is to show the love of God. Pastor's favorite verses are John 4:16-God is love, and John 3:16- For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes on him should not perish, but shall have everlasting life.
